Australia Speaks is run by McCrindle Research, a social research agency based in Sydney, Australia.

Australia Speaks is a medium through which we can take the social pulse of the community through our surveys and research.

We find out what people think and believe and pass this information onto Government organisations, community organisations and businesses to help better shape the future.

And for your time and effort, we pay our active online survey respondents and focus group participants.

Anyone living in Australia over 14 years of age, with a valid email address can join.

No. Being a member of Australia Speaks is completely free.

Visit the Join Now page, fill in the form and click register to be entered into our database. This makes you eligible to receive notifications to join our on-premises paid research groups and to earn rewards after taking part in our surveys.

When a new survey is online, you will receive an email notification with a direct link to the survey. However, you will only be able to fill in a survey once; multiple entries will be deemed ineligible. Please note that some surveys have a time limit, so please check your emails regularly.

For every survey you complete, you will receive a reward. You can monitor your earnings in the Member's Zone.

We also pay focus group participants by cash.

To check on your earned points please log into the Member’s Zone on the Australia Speaks website. You can redeem your earned money when it has accumulated to AUD$17.00, and the process is simple to link to your PayPal account. PayPal has proven to be a safe and secure way of making and receiving transactions online. You will need to set up a PayPal account, which is linked for direct credit into a nominated bank account.

No. If you would like to refer a friend to Australia Speaks, please feel free to spread the word so that your family members and friends can too earn rewards for partaking in our regular surveys and focus groups.

To close your account simply log into the Member's Zone. Once you have signed in, you will find a link to unregister. When you've completed these steps you will be removed from our database, and will no longer receive correspondence from Australia Speaks.

To update your details, you need to log into the Member's Zone. There you will find a form with your current details. Simply make the changes and hit submit to send your new details through.

You won't be spammed by Australia Speaks. We will not send you any advertising material. The only messages you will receive from us are Australia Speaks related ones.

Your details are kept private and held in our firewalled and secured server .

We will email you to notify you of new surveys. This may only be once a week. We may also send email invitations to participate in our on-premises paid research groups.

We will not sell or disclose your personal information to third parties.
